All by herself sitting there

Alone in this room

Filled with a musky scent

Almost like death

Fear bubbles up

Coagulated goo

Messy situations

Start to come unglued

Alone wondering

Where this all began

Fear of remembering

Fear of the past

Screaming inside

Stench of anxiety

Scent of nervousness

All alone in the darkness

In a corner

Sits this child

So small

So alone

Fragile bones

Sunken eyes

Fallen hopes

Depressed thoughts

Tears of fear

Memories dreaded

Reminiscences of dreams

One day to be prosperous

Better off later

Starving for attention

For caring embraces,

Love

In this corner

In this room

All alone

With the odor of fretfulness

“Why do we close our eyes when we; kiss, dream, and sleep? Because the most beautiful things in life are better seen with our eyes shut"
